The Laundry Alternative is committed to providing you with innovative, cost-saving, environmentally friendly products that work. Founded in 1999 by Corey K. Tournet, the company has grown rapidly from its humble beginnings.

We carefully review products for both safety and effectiveness before placing them on the site. In fact, we have turned down several products with large sales potential because they did not meet one or both of these criteria. It takes a lot of time and effort to get the small details right, versus settling for selling mediocre products, but is well worth it.

Our strong Internet presence has allowed us to reach customers from all over the world on a small budget. Word-of-mouth from our customers has also helped us considerably. If you know of anyone who may be interested in our website, please spread the word! The company and its products have been featured on the Rachel Ray Show, in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and many other places.

Our philosophy is to provide only the best products and never to use any sales pressure. We respect your privacy and will never give out any of your contact information to anyone- period!

A Note From the CEO
The Laundry Alternative got started 15 years ago through pure chance. I was living in a small apartment at the time, far away from the nearest laundromat. The Wonderwash turned out to be the perfect solution. I was working a day job at the time, and had no intention of starting a company...it just happened. Because the product was so unique, and not available anywhere, I placed a free ad on Yahoo! just out of curiosity, sold one and things gradually built from there.

The one thing we do best is really care about the quality and uniqueness of the products. We turn down many profitable business opportunities each year, because the products need to be great, not just good enough. We stick to laundry products only, rather than carrying many other lines, in order to be experts in the field and offer the best possible service. We feel that customers can tell and this will make a huge difference in the long term. We love what we do and everything is built around doing this for the long term. Personally I spend a great deal of time improving current products, both in terms of added features and longer product lifespan, and working on new laundry inventions.

Many people these days feel companies just don't care about quality, and with us, it could not be farther from the truth! For example it really bothers me anytime a product breaks. Although the company has grown quite a bit, I still read many customer emails including all emails related to product quality.
